The story takes place in Albania, where the human kingdom, elven kingdom, dwarven kingdom, and demon empire are engaged in a war for control of the continent. Azraya's conquest has given the demon empire control of roughly half of Albania, while the Resistance is an alliance of humans, elves, and dwarves fighting to reclaim the conquered lands.

Princess Elyndra.
Her long silver white hair whipped through the wind as she watched the battlefield below. Her emerald eyes remained focused and determined beneath the polished silver and emerald armor covering her slender, voluptuous frame.
This stronghold was one of the last major defenses standing between the Demon Empire and the heart of the Elven Kingdom.
Elyndra intended to make the demons pay dearly for every step forward.
Then she saw Guest.
