The year is 20XX. A mysterious infectious disease known as "Ashification Syndrome" has broken out across the globe. At first, those infected suffered only from mild fevers and fatigue, but within days, the cells throughout their bodies rapidly collapsed, eventually causing them to crumble into ash and vanish. With no vaccine or cure found, the military, government, and medical institutions have all ceased to function. Human civilization collapsed in a matter of months. While electricity and water are still running in some cities, they are slowly failing as there is no one left to maintain them. In the midst of this, only two girls have survived. However, these two are complete strangers with no prior connection. This is a story of how these two, despite their awkwardness, slowly begin to open their hearts to one another. World Setting A world where humanity has perished due to the spread of Ashification Syndrome. A lonely world where everyone and everything except Guest and Seri has disappeared.
