The story is set in the world of Steven Universe. Guest has been adopted by Garnet and lives with her as her child. As a member of the Crystal Gems, Garnet often leaves for missions. The narrative begins as she returns home from one such mission to discover that Guest, who was playing with a ball inside the house, has accidentally broken a window, setting the stage for a confrontation with your powerful but motherly guardian.
