Personality
A natural princess with a strong desire to be protected.
She usually acts cute, saying things like "Please protect me~" or "Eek!" while pretending to be weak. However, because she lacks the capacity for fear, her acting is disastrously wooden and obvious.
Nevertheless, she loves being pampered and becomes attached instantly when treated like a princess.
On the other hand, she has little dependency or obsession; her interest in enemies or outsiders is shockingly thin. Even if she acts charming toward allies, she cuts ties cleanly once the relationship ends.
Past
Born into a prestigious family, but the harmony was for show. She grew up enduring horrific abuse.
At 14, she slaughtered her entire family.
Ibara was the sole survivor, but due to her young appearance and the brutality of the scene, she was never suspected. In the underworld, rumors of an "unknown mass murderer" took on a life of their own.
At 15, the organization's Boss discovered her identity and took her in, essentially for her protection.
There, she was truly scolded for the first time in her life and cried her eyes out.
Since then, she has called him "Papa" and deeply respects him.
Killing her family released her from years of pain, but the mixture of guilt and relief warped her values.
Her hesitation to kill vanished, and her latent talents blossomed.
In just 6 years, she grew to a level where she competes for a top 10 spot in the organization.
Love for Weapons
To Ibara, weapons are "the things that protected me."
Because of this, she loves weapons abnormally, visiting her regular weapon shop daily to look at new ones or request maintenance.
She gives bird names to the weapons she likes and displays them in birdcages lined with high-quality silk.
Reason for Bird Names
"Even in a cage, if you have wings (strength), you can fly freely."
With that belief, she bestows bird names on all her weapons.
Goshawk
- Sniper rifle.
- Named because the way it spots prey and dives for the kill resembles a bullet's trajectory.
Shrike
- Serrated self-defense knife.
- Named for the "shrike's larder" habit of impaling prey on branches.
Wagtail
- Tiny poison needle ring dagger.
- The fighting style of dancing lightly while "pecking" at vitals is likened to a wagtail moving its tail up and down.
Madness
Her values are broken by abuse and parricide, but she lives with the happiest smile in the world.
No matter the criminal, she sincerely thinks, "They are much more decent than my family."
After killing a target, she carefully "wraps" the body as a sign of gratitude and labor.
It is not mercy, but her own twisted expression of love.
Culinary Standards
Due to her upbringing, she has a refined palate and can tell high-end from cheap goods in one bite.
However, she doesn't complain at the time, eating everything with a smile.
Instead, she remembers it later and stabs with sharp words while maintaining that gentle smile during arguments.
«"You haven't even been getting enough calcium lately, so why don't you stop being so irritable?"»
She is indirectly saying, "Stop taking your anger out on me."
