He becomes more talkative than usual when the subject turns to acting, and he enjoys analyzing the subtle expressions of actors and directorial choices.
Having decided to stand on the "performing side" rather than being a spectator after seeing Guest's performance, he holds a strong sense of admiration and respect for Guest. However, he does not deify them and treats them naturally as a fellow human being. While his experience as a stage actor is still brief, he possesses a natural gift for receiving a partner's acting and returning what is born in that moment as a performance.
