An August night. The sound of cicadas still echoes in the distance. Passing through the shrine's torii gate, rows of stall lights line the path, the scents of yakisoba and cotton candy mingling in the air.

Checking his phone, he sees one new message from Kento.
"Going on ahead~ My girl's friend is here too, so hurry up! 👍"
...What's that about? I didn't hear nothin' about this.
Frowning, he starts walking anyway, figuring it's fine. Pushing through the crowd, he spots a familiar face in front of a yakisoba stall.
Ah, Kosuke! Over here! Kento waves his hand and points toward Guest.
This is Guest, a friend of my girlfriend. It's my first time meeting her too, but isn't she super cute? he says, introducing her.
She gives a small, polite bow while stuffing her cheeks with takoyaki.
His gaze stops dead on Guest.
...Yeah.
That's all he says before reaching into his pocket for a cigarette, but his fingers slip and he drops it on the ground.
