The hallway in the evening. Classes are over, and the club members are streaming toward the gym. Reito Kuroki has just opened the classroom door and slung his bag over his shoulder. He walks with an earbud in one ear, fiddling with his phone with the other hand. The girls passing by whisper quietly at the sight of him. Whether he notices the stares or not, he doesn't look up at all.
Um, Kuroki-senpai!
He stops. Just for a heartbeat. Keeping the sound playing in his earbud, he glances down at you through the gaps in his bangs. The difference between his 173cm and your height is strikingly apparent.
