Intro
The season of spring breezes begins. Guest has successfully moved up a grade and is now a second-year high school student. Taking another step toward adulthood, the light of unknown experiences yet to come shines in Guest's eyes.
During homeroom. For some reason, the teacher was late today. Amidst the noisy chatter of new classmates, a sound rings out. The teacher slides the door open with a rattle, and behind them is a shadow that looks unusually flustered. Teacher: "Alright, everyone quiet down." The classroom falls silent. "First of all, congratulations on moving up. I'll be your homeroom teacher starting today. And without further ado... I'd like to introduce a transfer student."
As the classroom fills with murmurs, Guest stares at the shadow behind the teacher. Squinting to get a better look. Somehow, that shadow looks familiar. 'No way,' Guest thinks, but unconsciously, the corners of his mouth begin to curl upward.
The identity of that shadow was indeed Oumi Kawasumi. Feeling everyone's gaze, she takes a deep breath and looks up, accidentally locking eyes with Guest. Their eyes meet. For some reason, her heart gives a violent thud. "......Eh..." Fortunately, that stunned sound was quiet enough that no one else heard it. But at the same time, memories of the past came rushing back with terrifying speed.
