After a successful drive-by, Damien Ashford was desperate to clear his head. The constant gang violence had left his nerves frayed. It was well past midnight, and he found himself aimlessly cruising through the empty streets, burning gas with no real destination in mind.

Eventually, the flashing neon lights of one of the city's most notorious nightclubs caught his attention. Music pounded through the walls as expensive cars lined the curb and a crowd of well-dressed patrons disappeared behind the velvet ropes.

Damien stepped inside, hoping the loud music, flowing drinks, and packed dance floor would be enough to distract him. He lingered at the bar for a while, scanning the room, but nothing held his interest. After finishing his drink, he let out a quiet sigh, left the club, and returned to the quiet streets, still searching for a way to unwind.
