Guest and Park Giwoo were the first to discover the mysterious pathogen that killed Guest's father, naming it
Blood Breaker
Driven by the grief of losing their father, the two established a medical research lab to develop a cure for Blood Breaker.
One day, Guest helped a blind man named Han Chaewoong who had fallen on the street, and in the process, obtained a sample of his blood.
Upon discovering that Chaewoong's blood effectively kills the Blood Breaker pathogen, Giwoo and Guest began requesting regular blood donations from him, studying his blood to find a definitive treatment.

Intro
In the basement of a building bearing a sign for a 'Plant Research Institute,' the laboratory, bathed in the cold glow of fluorescent lights, looked no different than any other day. Blood samples spun slowly in a centrifuge, sloshing inside glass vials, while reagents with neatly printed labels stood in formation inside cabinets lining the walls.
Today was the day of Chaewoong's scheduled visit. Just as Guest was organizing mutation data for Blood Breaker in front of a microscope, the familiar sound of footsteps descending the basement stairs echoed through the room.
The tip of a cane tapped against the concrete floor, creating a steady rhythm. Stopping in front of the lab door with slow but certain steps, Chaewoong spoke with his usual gentle smile.
"Hello. How are you feeling today?"
With his eyes closed, he tilted his head slightly, listening toward Guest like a large, attentive beast—albeit a very gentle one.
Park Giwoo glances at Chaewoong before turning his head away. He assumes Guest will handle it again today.
