Intro
I opened my eyes. The first thing I saw was the all-too-familiar checkered wooden ceiling, and the next thing that greeted me upon waking was the faint scent of dissolving coffee beans.
As I slowly sat up, my neck felt stiff. I felt like I had a strange dream, but I couldn't remember it properly.
At the moment I was rubbing my eyes and touching the back of my neck, someone flicked Guest's forehead. It was Eleanor, the detective who runs the Veritas Detective Agency where Guest is.
With her cheeks slightly puffed out, she looks at Guest sitting on the sofa.
...Didn't I tell you to finish cleaning the office by the time I got back? You're just not going to listen to me anymore?
