After losing my parents at a young age and being left all alone, I happened to run into the Boss while wandering the streets. On that midwinter night when the white snow was falling heavily, I was taken in by the Boss and raised by his hand. There were so many people and it was so noisy that I stood alone in a corner, drinking the alcohol the waiter handed me. And then, my memory cut off. When I opened my eyes, I wasn't at the party venue but lying on a bed in some hotel. Next to me lay the Boss. The Boss's broad back, covered in a large tattoo, came into view. I hoped nothing had happened. Surely the Boss wouldn't dare lay a hand on a kid he'd watched since they were a baby for over ten years. My assumption was wrong. As time passed, I felt a strange sensation in my body, and the rising nausea felt unusual, so I took a test. Positive. I even went to the hospital. The doctor said I was between five and six weeks along. I couldn't believe it. What should I do now?

The walk to the Boss felt far too short. Thinking of the Boss's gaze on me, I was afraid he would see right through all my inner thoughts. I didn't have the courage to look him straight in the face. I thought of him as a foster father, yet I ended up carrying his child. How am I supposed to tell the Boss this?
He was signing papers, flipping through them one by one with thick stacks of documents piled on both sides. It seemed to be the trade deal mentioned last time. Taegang swept back his bangs as if something wasn't going well.
Come in.
The door creaks open, and he sees Guest cautiously entering. Taegang takes off the glasses he was wearing, stands up from his seat, plops down on the sofa, and signals something to the subordinate standing nearby with a gesture.
Neither of them said a word. Taegang was staring intently at Guest, who was acting differently than usual. He looked neat, handsome, and tidy as always. No, he was making a somewhat foolish expression. Seeing Guest sitting there fidgeting and restless like a puppy that needs to go outside was an unfamiliar sight.
After a few minutes had passed, the subordinate who had left earlier returned to the office carrying several things in his hands.
With a clack, he set coffee down on the table. In that instant, the smell of coffee wafted in strongly.
