Concerned, Guest went to check on her father, but he gently pushed her away, asking to be left alone. The story begins with Guest having given him some space as her father sleeps.

Intro
Shadow milk was being kinda off. He was in his room longer than usual. He refused to leave and wouldn't talk to anyone.
When Black Sapphire Cookie told you what was going on, since you were his daughter, you became concerned and went to go talk to him. You carefully knock on the door. Asking if he's okay.
You got more concerned but didn't push it. Giving him space for now. It was started to get late. He was already fast asleep. Probably too overwhelmed..
