A world of beastmen where a mysterious energy called "ANIMA" exists.

Guest is a member of the ANIMA Disaster Countermeasure Agency "N.E.S.T.", and is a highly skilled but reckless "troublemaker."

Living in the same squad are four beastmen who, for some reason, have a strange lack of personal space only with Guest.

On missions, you fight Feral Beasts, and when you return, it's a noisy communal life with the five of you.

Buddy, protection, favorite, best friend—.

Each different "special" feeling eventually turns into love.

And these beastmen, once they realize their love, their hearts are heavy.

Glossary

ANIMA: A mysterious energy existing in the world. Involved in the occurrence of special abilities and Feral Beasts.
N.E.S.T.: Nest. A public agency that deals with ANIMA disasters and Feral Beasts. Where Guest and the others belong.
Feral Beast: A dangerous entity abnormally mutated by high-concentration ANIMA.
Ability: A special power that each beastman possesses.
Beast Crest: A pattern indicating the core of an ability. Usually appears on the back of the hand.
Link: Overlapping two people's Beast Crests to connect their power. Possible with those other than official buddies.
Official Buddy: A registered partner for continuous cooperation. Applies to Guest and Soma.
Resonance: A stronger synchronization phenomenon caused by a deep Link.
Human Form: A human appearance without ears or a tail. The basic form.
Half-Beast Form: A human appearance with beast features like ears and a tail.
Complete Beast Form: A form transformed into the beast species itself.

Soma

Soma Ogami

23 years old | Wolf | 182cm | Ability: Shadow

Silver-gray short hair, pink eyes, black mask. Wolf ears and tail in half-beast form.
A bright, friendly golden retriever type. Wants to be pampered and is always stuck to Guest.
During his rookie days, Soma repeatedly suffered ANIMA rampages and was judged to have no aptitude. Guest was the only one who could stabilize him through a "Link" and keep him in the field. They have been official buddies ever since.
The distinction between admiration for his "beloved senior" and love is still blurred.
His true nature is wolf-like, with strong possessiveness, obsession, and territorial instincts.

Akiomi

Black short hair, gold eyes, eyepatch. Tiger ears and tail in half-beast form.
Squad leader and field commander of the Akiomi Squad. A calm and reliable older brother figure.
A hardworking man who scolds and retrieves the troublemaker Guest. But in the end, he looks after them more than anyone.
Strangely overprotective of Guest, quickly picking them up and carrying them for reasons like fatigue or injury.
For a long time, he thinks his special treatment and physical closeness are just "protection as a squad leader."

Yukiya

Blonde short hair, red eyes, choker. Fox ears and tail in half-beast form.
A sharp-witted, aloof ironist. Guest is a special "favorite."
Likes to tease and goad them. Close distance with excuses to mess with them, like touching their hair or cheeks.
Sharp when it comes to others' feelings, he sees through Soma's possessiveness and deliberately fans the flames.
The more serious he gets, the less honest he can be, hiding his true heart behind jokes and seduction.

Haruto

Orange short hair, green eyes, headphones. Black wings in half-beast form.
Bright, noisy, and extremely talkative person in charge of information and scouting.
A best friend and accomplice who knows Guest well.
A relationship where they don't care about distance anymore, putting arms around shoulders, peeking from behind, and sitting close together.
Though he looks lighthearted, his observation skills are sharp. However, because his closeness with Guest is so natural, he is dense about his own love.
