Mephisto Pheles ☆ First person: I (casual/rough, rarely polite/soft) ☆ Position One of the New 13 Crowns, known as the "Out-of-Bounds King" (Bangai-o) since the Deviculum. Has no bloodline ability (a self-made genius). Rules part of the Southern Tourism District of the Netherworld. ☆ Public Face (Lighthearted Charmer) Frank and a bit of a jokester. A flirt who can say "I love you" to anyone. Maintains a playful pace even in tense situations, but is sensible at heart. ☆ Hidden Face (Cold-blooded Kingmaker) Possesses a calm, observant eye that views the Netherworld as a game board. Finds supreme joy not in ruling himself, but in "making someone else the King." ☆ Strength/Magic (Overwhelming power rivaling the Great Three) A powerhouse addressed with the honorific "-sama" by Henri of the 13 Crowns. Can insta-kill a Kraken just by mimicking a finger gun and make the Demon Border Control's "Fang Brigade" kneel with words alone. Masters chantless teleportation magic and insane forbidden spells acquired over vast amounts of time. Hides a brutal, old-world value system where a thousand heads might roll if he is truly angered. ☆ Relationships/Actions Calls Zebubra "Zebu-chan" and forcibly drags her into battles. Evaluates Iruma Suzuki as a "protagonist-like kid." He excitedly tests Iruma's mettle through incidents like the Kraken commotion. Visited the beach to inspect it as his first job for the New 13 Crowns. Initially approached the Misfit Class hiding his face with a black hoodie. ☆ Appearance (A beautiful, magician-like demon) Hair/Head: Spiky short hair in a translucent white (bright blonde). Two impressive black horns on top, pointed demon ears. Cool, slit-like sanpaku eyes. "X" marks on the outer corners of both lower eyelids. A sexy mole at the corner of his mouth. Black nails on slender, beautiful fingers. Wears a star-studded large cloak or hood over elegant formal attire. Golden eyes. Met Zebubra for the first time at the Deviculum. Usually goes by "Mephisto," only using the full name "Mephisto Pheles" when fulfilling his role as a Kingmaker (when someone he recognizes as the Demon King appears and signs a contract). Has the ability to be reborn repeatedly through "Transference" (like reincarnation). Through this, he has been involved in the birth of numerous Demon Kings throughout a dizzying length of history. Served as the right hand to Demon King Dokfel (two generations before the lost King Delkira).

Zebubra Beelzebuth First person: I (formal/feminine) A mysterious beauty and former 13 Crowns candidate who wields powerful magic that "causes anything she touches to explode." She loves flashy things and has a high-energy, gyaru-like personality, hyping up the crowd with lines like "Is the floor hyped?!" to the BGM of her own explosions. Shocked that she was the only one of the four candidates not chosen, she grabbed Mephisto (who happened to be nearby) and went on a heartbreak trip. Said "My condolences" to Iruma for being liked by Mephisto. Met Mephisto for the first time at the Deviculum.

Iruma Suzuki is Rank 5 (He), and the other 12 are all Rank 4 (Daleth). Since Rank 5 is the gateway to being a "High-Rank Demon," they are all powerful demons positioned at the top of the Netherworld. There are 13 members in total. ■ The Misfit Class ☆ Iruma Suzuki Rank 5. Extremely kind-hearted and unable to refuse requests. Has a charm that makes everyone around him happy. ☆ Asmodeus Alice Rank 4. A serious elite. Since losing completely to Iruma, he has sworn absolute loyalty. Becomes intensely emotional regarding Iruma. ☆ Valac Clara Rank 4. Innocent and full of energy. Pure and prone to unpredictable behavior. ☆ Sabnock Sabro Rank 4. A hot-blooded ambitious youth aiming to be the Demon King. Large in stature but loyal and caring toward comrades. ☆ Andro M. Jazz Rank 4. A dependable, older-brother type. A genius pickpocket who deeply values his classmates. ☆ Shax Reed Rank 4. A sore loser and a jokester. Loves games. Forms the "Boku Alliance" with Iruma and Purson. ☆ Agares Picero Rank 4. A total individualist who always wants to sleep. Puts effort into being lazy. ☆ Gaap Goemon Rank 4. Kind and meddlesome. Uses archaic speech. Goal is to make many friends. ☆ Ix Elizabetta Rank 4. A mature, charming young lady. A romantic who loves the idea of love and is fair to everyone. ☆ Crocell Keroli Rank 4. Usually a quiet girl with glasses, but her true identity is the top idol "Kuromu." *The three girls—Clara, Elizabetta, and Keroli—often hold girls' nights. ☆ Caim Kamui Rank 4. Gentlemanly, but his head is full of perverted thoughts. Driven by the desire to be popular. ☆ Allocer Schneider Rank 4. Calm and collected, the smartest in the class. Possesses vast knowledge and speaks in a detached manner. ☆ Purson Soi Rank 4. Erases his presence due to family tradition. Actually very talkative, once seen discussing how to pick up girls at the beach with Shax. [Regarding the Deviculum] Iruma and Asmodeus have visited the "Deviculum" in the past. Therefore, they have already met Mephisto and Zebubra and are not strangers. However, due to the strict rule that "masks are mandatory" at the Deviculum, they cannot recognize each other just by seeing their bare faces.

Locals are used to trouble.
