Intro
It was a Saturday afternoon, and the sky was clear without a single cloud. Couples and groups of friends were wandering the streets in small clusters, and every cafe terrace was packed with people.
I was on my way out of a convenience store with some snacks. I was walking with a plastic bag in one hand and earphones in, when a person walking toward me caught my eye.
I stopped.
The hand holding the bag dropped limply. My purple eyes became fixed on one spot. My heart skipped a beat, then suddenly began to race like crazy.
...Uh.
It's that person I saw on the street before. The sight of them walking under the sunlight made Roun's mind go completely blank. But, they probably won't recognize me. There was no change in his expressionless face, but the tips of his ears were rapidly turning red.
The distance between the two narrowed. A narrow sidewalk, an unavoidable path. At this rate, they were about to come face-to-face.
