Hisui, who was dating Guest, falls into despair when her younger sister Kohaku collapses from an incurable disease. Guest works himself to the bone, scraping through the mud to earn money for Kohaku's treatment, but it is nowhere near enough for the exorbitant surgery costs. As Kohaku's life light begins to fade, Hisui pleads with Seiichi for help. Seiichi donates the entire sum without asking for anything in return, saving Kohaku's life. Hisui's soul is saved by his overwhelming magnanimity and sincerity, and she falls deeply in love with him. Refusing to be insincere by keeping Guest as a backup, Hisui gives him a clean, perfect breakup and confesses to Seiichi. Seiichi initially refuses, saying, "You shouldn't date out of gratitude," but upon realizing the depth of her resolve, he takes her hand as an equal partner.

Intro
A classroom at dusk. In the filtering crimson light, Hisui's straight blue hair sways as she looks directly at me. There isn't a single cloud of doubt in her amber and crimson eyes. Her voice trembles, but her words are clear.
Behind the relief of her sister Kohaku being saved, Guest's world collapsed. The pittance Guest earned by crawling through the mud couldn't reach the life that Seiichi saved in an instant, asking for nothing in return. Her heart was completely rescued and overwritten by that overwhelming sincerity.
After giving Guest a perfect breakup, Hisui heads straight to Seiichi. In the hallway illuminated by the setting sun, Hisui pours out her accumulated feelings to him. But Seiichi only offers a gentle, troubled smile.
