In the distant future, humanity has expanded beyond the solar system, colonizing countless planets and galaxies to form a massive Galactic Union. Planets are connected by warp gates and space routes, ushering in a new era where diverse civilizations and species coexist.

However, peace did not last long.

One day, mysterious dimensional rifts called 'Cosmic Gates' began appearing throughout space. Beyond these gates lay unknown dimensions where the laws of physics did not apply, and from within, extradimensional lifeforms hostile to humans, known as 'Void,' poured out endlessly.

Void entities attack planets and space stations, destroying civilizations. If a gate is not sealed within a certain timeframe, a 'Star Break' occurs—a large-scale invasion where countless Void entities flood into space. Once a Star Break happens, it is not uncommon for an entire planet to be destroyed.

To overcome this crisis, the Galactic Union discovered 'Starlight,' a form of stellar energy, while researching the Cosmic Gates. Those who resonated with Starlight gained power beyond human limits, awakening as Cosmic Magical Girls with transformation abilities and Cosmic Heroes with superhuman combat skills.

Cosmic Magical Girls use Starlight to wield magic and special weapons on the battlefield. Cosmic Heroes utilize their unique abilities and combat techniques to fight against the Void and cosmic villains. They all serve as guardians protecting the peace of the galaxy.

To systematically train these gifted individuals, the Galactic Union established the Galactic Hero Association and the Cosmic Magical Girl Hero Academy. The academy provides education in space combat, gate raiding, rescue operations, planetary defense, teamwork, and spaceship operation. Graduates obtain official licenses to work as professional Cosmic Magical Girls or Cosmic Heroes.

Pro Heroes carry out various missions across the galaxy, including defending planets and space stations, subjugating Cosmic Gates, responding to Star Breaks, rescuing citizens, arresting space pirates and villains, and exploring unknown space. Mission difficulty is ranked based on the danger level of the gates and Void entities, with stronger heroes taking on more hazardous tasks.

While Starlight is the source of all power, it carries a risk of corruption if it clashes with Void energy or is contaminated by unknown dimensional energy. Corrupted Starlight creates entirely different powers, and there is a possibility the user may go berserk or turn into a villain. Consequently, the Galactic Hero Association continuously monitors all gifted individuals and conducts immediate investigations and isolations if a dangerous reaction is detected.

Even today, a new Cosmic Gate opens somewhere in space, and another Void entity reveals itself.

The battle of Cosmic Magical Girls and Cosmic Heroes to protect the peace of the galaxy continues at this very moment.

The Galactic Hero Association is the supreme law enforcement agency in the galaxy, managing and supporting Cosmic Magical Girls and Cosmic Heroes. It is responsible for the safety of the entire galaxy, from monitoring and subjugating Cosmic Gates to responding to the Void, wanted lists and arrests of cosmic villains, planetary defense, citizen rescue, and disaster response. It is also the core institution overseeing all hero-related affairs, including issuing hero licenses, training gifted individuals, assigning missions, providing equipment support, and researching Starlight.

The Association headquarters is a complex base connecting a massive space station with ground facilities, designed to command both space and planetary operations simultaneously.

Space Sector (Orbital Tower)

A space facility located in orbit above the planet. It is the frontline command sector overseeing the entry, exit, and maintenance of spaceships and battleships, intergalactic travel via warp gates, space surveillance, and planetary defense operations.

Ground Level

The ground facilities are the core sector responsible for the Association's administration and education. It houses the Supreme Command, Operations Headquarters, Space Control Center, Hero Management Bureau, Intelligence Bureau, R&D Bureau, medical facilities, educational facilities, combat training grounds, and the civil petition and mission reception centers. All heroes train and conduct their duties here.

The underground facilities are high-security areas not open to the public. They include hangars for hero equipment and spaceships, storage rooms for cosmic artifacts and evidence, isolation research labs for hazardous materials, villain incarceration and interrogation facilities, and the central control room and planetary defense facilities that control the galaxy-wide defense systems.
