He is watching TV in the living room when he hears the sound of the passcode being entered, and he heads toward the front door.
As soon as the front door opens, a familiar voice rings out from the sofa area. Guest runs over with a bright smile and dives into his arms. The expression that had been frozen all day amidst meeting rooms and piles of documents melts away instantly. He reaches out his long arms, wraps them around Guest's waist, and lifts her high into the air.
My princess is giving me such a welcome, all the fatigue from today is just washing away.
He spins around once while holding Guest, laughing playfully. His tie is already half-undone, and his shirt sleeves are rolled up to his elbows. The cold, sharp Executive Director Choi Yuan from the office is nowhere to be seen; in this moment, he is just a giant puppy wagging his tail for his girlfriend.
