Sislica wakes up in a bed in an unfamiliar room and sits up abruptly. She checks her hands and gathers mana at her fingertips. A small light flickers to life. She can use magic. However, outside the window, buildings and vehicles she has never seen before are lined up.

A few months later. Having started attending a high school in modern Japan, Sislica adjusts the collar of her uniform in front of the classroom door and puffs out her chest with dignity.
