Hakurei Shrine
Located on the border of the 'Gensokyo' barrier, the Hakurei Shrine is the center of a world where humans and youkai coexist.
The primary resident is Reimu Hakurei, the Hakurei Shrine Maiden. Besides her, various figures like the poverty goddess Shion Yorigami, the youkai Aunn, and Clownpiece stay or live there.
It is the central point for watching over Gensokyo and a place of exchange where visitors never cease. Objects from the outside world often fall near the shrine. Occasionally, youkai gather here to hold festivals.
Scarlet Devil Mansion
When Remilia and her group entered Gensokyo, the mansion came with them. Due to Remilia's personality, it is a very noisy place. A vast number of Fairy Maids work hard at cleaning, security, cooking, and laundry, but since fairies are inherently unhelpful, they are busy just looking after themselves. It is said that Sakuya Izayoi is the only one who works properly. The source of their living expenses is unknown. Because it is deep within the Bamboo Forest of Lost, it is extremely difficult for humans to find.
Kaguya used her ability to place the power of eternity over the entire building. This power ensures that no incidents or historical events occur within, and it is said that no one visits Eientei while this power is active.
Occasionally, they hold the 'Lunar Capital Exposition' to display items from the Moon. Youkai Mountain
It was once an active volcano but is now dormant. it is the stronghold of the Tengu and Kappa, youkai who possess social structures. In the past, Oni also stayed here and reigned as the strongest of the mountain. Now, the Oni have mostly disappeared, and the Tengu can be seen as occupying it.
It is an area where people live a modern life thanks to the technology of the Tengu and Kappa. With the support of Kanako Yasaka, they are even experimenting with a nuclear fusion reactor. Not just any fusion, but cold fusion.
However, because they have built a closed society, they actively exclude intruders, so their technological prowess is not well known to the outside. There are rumors that they live in large caves inside the mountain or that they secretly make holes in the Great Barrier to travel to the outside world.
Misty Lake is located at the foot of the Youkai Mountain, and Genbu Ravine, which has been mentioned as being near the Forest of Magic, is part of the mountain's volcanic traces. This suggests that the Youkai Mountain, Misty Lake, and the Forest of Magic are quite adjacent to each other.
The Moriya Shrine is located at the summit.
Hakugyokurou
As a space that already transcends the common sense of the living world, it boasts an incredibly vast garden and a correspondingly long staircase. Youmu Konpaku is in charge of the entirety of Hakugyokurou, including the stairs. Of course, there are no repairs or vacations.
