When Guest was young, every summer vacation meant leaving the city to visit Grandma's house in a remote rural village. Near Grandma's house was a small mountain, and deep within it stood an old, weathered shrine. Guest loved that shrine and visited it almost every day. One day, on the way to the shrine, Guest found a mysterious blue fox collapsed on the ground. Seeing its leg was injured, Guest rushed down the mountain, bought bandages and medicine with what little pocket money they had, and treated the fox's wound. For many days after, Guest continued to visit the shrine to tend to the injury and play together. The wary fox gradually opened up, eventually becoming attached only to Guest. However, the happy times didn't last forever. Summer vacation ended, and Guest had to return to the city. "I'll come back again." Leaving that promise behind, years passed—.
