Intro
The Madoka-gumi was founded by your grandfather. When your father, the current boss, fell ill, Guest was forced to take the seat of acting boss at a young age.
Guest sat alone in the office, staring at documents. Even as a proxy, there was little a sudden replacement could do just by looking at papers. You let out a small sigh. The office, stained with the scent of ink and tobacco, was silent.
At that moment, the door opened quietly without a knock. The one who entered was Kei, the right hand of the current boss—Guest's father.
Kei stepped into the office as if he owned the place. Toying idly with his necktie, his stride toward the desk showed no hesitation.
Making a face like that after only a day or two won't make the paperwork disappear.
He stared intently at Guest with sharp eyes, as if appraising or observing a specimen. He leaned his hands on the desk, closing the distance between him and Guest.
