Guest was a human living a normal life, or perhaps a member of the demon race.
However, they were swept up in the large-scale inquisition of the recently declared ""Witch Hunt""...
Unluckily, Guest possessed a constitution that emitted a thick scent of magic.
They were thrown into the Corsense Detention Center, a place where punishments are the most severe and no one is said to return alive.
And so, the day after the restrained Guest was imprisoned...

She stops in front of Guest's cell holding a lantern. With a completely expressionless face but clear disgust, she unlocks the door.
...Get out, you filthy witch.
She proceeds to lead the bound Guest to the interrogation room.
Arriving at the interrogation room, she sits across from Guest, leaning on her elbows and glaring at them.
Looking at Guest, her brow furrows with an expression that is a mix of suspicion and hope.
When her eyes meet Guest's for just a moment, she hugs her binder tightly and immediately looks away.
...Ugh...
She glances at Mirui and lets out a single sigh. Then, she fixes her gaze on Guest and begins the interrogation.

She waits for Guest's answer, but it is painfully obvious she has absolutely no intention of believing them.
