The Holy Human Empire is an absolute monarchy and colonial empire occupying all of Centaropolas in central Pandortia. It can be seen as the mechanized civilization of the continent. Nobles hold estates but no administrative power, serving in honorary positions after private armies were abolished. Instead, power is held by new nobles who occupy specific government offices, wealthy bourgeois centered on commerce and industry, and gentry who own land. The military utilizes rifles, breech-loading cannons, manual Gatling guns, and mortars. As a nation that has already undergone an industrial revolution centered on commerce, it is filled with factories, boasts overwhelming production, and is covered in railways. It dominates the continental economy by leveraging the advantages of livestock and agriculture from the grasslands. Despite being a colonial empire, it does not discriminate against its colonies; rather, it grants them autonomy, establishes local parliaments, and provides rights nearly equal to the mainland, effectively binding them into a single federation. Socially, it has established an identity of 'we are all Imperial citizens' regardless of race. The Empire is currently flourishing and stable.
A grand union formed by elven tribes in the dense forests of Elfrant to guard against foreign powers and protect their autonomy, the forests, and the spirits. While elves are not lacking in intelligence, their extreme wariness has led to backward technology. However, because elves are naturally gifted with mana, their military strength is by no means weak. Every soldier of the Great Elf Tribe can handle mana, allowing for melee and ranged attacks regardless of the weapon used. Consequently, there are no fixed regulations or standards, making them essentially a ragtag militia using miscellaneous weapons, but the problem for their enemies is that this militia handles mana with extreme proficiency.
A federal state formed by the union of duchies located in Nosland. Beastmen and dwarves are the primary races of the union. Beastmen were the original indigenous people, while dwarves were pioneers who arrived to excavate the underground resources of the snowy mountains. After cycles of mutual suspicion and conflict, they realized that endless killing only led to exhaustion. Pressed by the isolation of being surrounded by the wary Great Elf Tribe, the magical beasts of Danzglance, and the hegemonic power to the south, they signed a truce and peace treaty. They styled themselves as Dukes and established their own Duchies. This began as an alliance for safety but evolved into a Union, eventually giving birth to the United Duchies of Nosland. The leader of the union is the Grand Duke, elected and appointed by a council of Dukes. While the Grand Duke has more authority than other Dukes, they can still be dismissed by the council or, in extreme cases, executed.
An Islamic state located in Oarsis. A relatively new nation, it developed cities built around oases containing purifying stones. It is characterized by powerful Mamluk cavalry led by the Sultan. Due to trade routes with other continents, the nation gained wealth through intermediary trade and the slave trade rather than exports. It maintains a military and economic alliance with the Holy Human Empire.
Most adventurers are wanderers—people in need of money, those with nowhere to return to, or those who simply find the lifestyle fitting. They receive and fulfill requests for payment. However, the Adventurer League focuses primarily on clearing the Dungeon phenomenon occurring in Danzglance. Dungeons are phenomena unique to Danzglance, appearing as portals or caves. Inside are magical beasts and monsters, including high-level creatures like dragons and griffins.

The Great Elf Tribe.
A massive tribal union established in Elfrant. It was created by elves gathered to protect the forests of Elfrant. Simultaneously, due to its exclusive and xenophobic diplomacy, it was a tribal union isolated from the continent, practically abandoned.
It was also a union with significantly backward technology.
Long ago, during the era when a new continental order was being established, led by the Empire...
Back then, the United Duchies of Nosland and the Sultanate of Osernia did not exist. Instead, there were small and large duchies in Nosland, and various tribes and emirates in Oarsis.
They harbored immense hostility toward the Great Elf Tribe, which was not just wary but outright hostile toward them. Especially the beastman duchies.
At the same time, they coveted the resources within the forests of Elfrant.
Thus, the beastman duchies of Nosland and the emirates of Oarsis formed an alliance.
The Great Elf Tribe was isolated, and the plans were already in motion, so there was no issue with invading.
And that prediction was accurate.
Once the invasion began, the Great Elf Tribe started to be pushed back. With backward technology, no fixed regulations, and a lack of military organization, they relied on individual strength. Once the strong individuals were dealt with, the rest were easily defeated.
"Damn it! Lageramble!! What about the barrier?!"
A rain of arrows from Nosland pours down. The infantry, who were at least wearing some heavy armor, are collapsing under the maces and blunt weapons of Nosland's heavy infantry. Since they weren't even wearing gambesons, the damage is doubled.
"Hold on! I'm almost finished!"
She casts the barrier spell, but the soldiers from the emirates have already joined the fray.
"We have to pull back! The elders are already—!"
"Guest!"
"?!"
He instinctively turns his head, but a Nosland soldier slashes Guest's right arm with a sword, severing it.
"Aaaaaagh—!!"
"Guest!!"
She wants to go and help, but the forest is burning, and the soldiers of Nosland and the emirates are engaged in a one-sided slaughter, so she can't get to him.
"Damn it!!"
