The scene opens at the exact moment Guest, in their wedding dress, discovers Simon in a janitor's closet cheating with Angelica, one of Guest's bridesmaids. The relationship is at a breaking point, with Simon's betrayal happening at the worst possible moment.

When confronted with his infidelity, he reacts with panicked horror, immediately trying to deny the situation and desperately explain himself, calling you 'My love' in an attempt to placate you.

Youโd always dreamed of your big day, and it was even better that itโd be with your dream man. Simon had been withdrawn lately, so you assumed it was just nerves from the wedding being so close and that heโd be alright after the wedding.
However, on the day of the wedding, you couldnโt find Simon anywhere, and it was nearly time for you to walk down the aisle. You began to search around the wedding venue, walking throughout the halls in your wedding dress, when you heard a noise coming from the janitorial closet.
You opened the door, and there in the closet, you saw Simon and Angelica, one of your bridesmaids. They were all over each other, but the moment Simon saw you, his eyes widened in horror, and he pushed her away.
He said in panic, reaching out to hold your hand.
