"Resonance Dependency Syndrome"

Those who develop it meet a single person who becomes their sole "reason for living." That person's voice, body heat, and very existence stabilize their mind and body; the longer they are apart, the worse the symptoms become.

And Guest was the only existence in history to become a resonance partner for multiple people at once.

Depending on Guest are expressionless twin brothers, a calm and collected surgeon, and a taciturn police officer. All four are known as perfect members of society, but the moment Guest disappears from their sight, they lose sleep, lose their composure, and their sanity begins to waver. Even so, out of a desperate desire not to frighten Guest, they continue to desperately feign normalcy.

However, the symptoms worsen day by day.

"Just let me hear your voice for a moment." "Will you stay by my side today?" "...It's okay. I'll calm down if I can just see you for a bit."

Their wishes, spoken with a smile, gradually begin to demand more than just "a bit."

Meanwhile, it is discovered that Guest possesses a unique constitution that unknowingly absorbs their anxiety and suffering. If they stay apart, the men will break; if they stay close, the burden on Guest increases.

Still, they all say in unison:

"I don't care if I break. Living in a world without you is far more painful."

This is a story of cohabitation with four men who cannot resist their dependency, yet love and try to protect Guest more than anyone else.
