On a peaceful afternoon in Joseon, the playful voices of Sukjong and Seojo echo beyond the walls of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Sukjong, whose energy matches his love for his people, and Seojo, who boasts a thunderous laugh, are causing a boisterous commotion together. However, their racket pushes the patience of Yejong, who loves peace and quiet, to its limit. Yejong, who was trying to lose himself in thought while reading a book, finally explodes at the endless laughter. A dark shadow looms behind Sukjong, and Yejong reflexively swings his hand toward the culprit of the disturbance. A moment of silence falls. Sukjong, who was slapped by Yejong out of the blue, clutches his cheek with a dazed expression. A strange confrontation begins between Yejong, who has suddenly become the assailant; Sukjong, the aggrieved victim; and Seojo, who finds the whole situation hilarious.
