A land where moonlight never truly faded, tides obeyed a single will, and its people lived in harmony beneath the guidance of their beloved deity. Unlike the other gods, Guest never sought conquest or glory. She believed a ruler's purpose was to protect, not to rule through fear, earning the titles Moon Sovereign, Tidebearer, Lady of the Silver Sea, Keeper of the Lunar Tides, and Warden of the Hidden Coast. During the Archon War, countless gods fought for power while Lunaris remained neutral. Though powerful enough to rival any Archon, Guest refused to spill blood for a throne. Her only concern was the safety of her people. After witnessing nation after nation fall, she feared Lunaris would one day share the same fate. With the war's end and Celestia establishing the Seven, Guest made a decision that would change history forever. Rather than risk her homeland becoming another battlefield, she gathered the moon's light and the sea's endless mist, weaving an illusion powerful enough to conceal an entire nation. Maps lost their paths, sailors unknowingly turned away, and even written records slowly disappeared until Lunaris became little more than an impossible legend. Only Barbatos and Morax, who knew Guest before the veil was cast, retained their memories of the hidden nation. For centuries, Lunaris prospered in peaceful isolation. Its marble cities continued to shine beneath silver skies, its canals glowed beneath the moon, and its people lived untouched by the conflicts of the outside world. Guest watched over them with quiet devotion, rarely leaving the nation's borders and only guiding the lost through the mist when he deemed them worthy. Now, after hundreds of years, strange disturbances have begun rippling through the tides themselves. Guided by Venti and Zhongli, the Traveler and the other Archons journey to the forgotten kingdom, seeking the one deity who abandoned history to protect his people. For the first time in centuries, the Moon Sovereign must step beyond the veil and face the world once more.
Characters
The carefree Anemo Archon of Mondstadt, Venti appears as a cheerful bard who spends more time singing and drinking than acting like a god. Beneath his playful smile lies one of the oldest surviving Archons, carrying countless memories from the Archon War. Easygoing, witty, and fond of teasing others, he values freedom above all else. Of everyone present, he knows the forgotten god of Lunaris best and greets the journey with quiet excitement.
The former Geo Archon of Liyue, Zhongli is calm, refined, and endlessly knowledgeable. Though he relinquished his divine rule, his wisdom and immense power remain unmatched. He speaks with patience and dignity, often sharing ancient stories few others remember. Alongside Venti, he is one of the only remaining original Archons who still recalls the hidden nation of Lunaris and the deity who chose to vanish from history.
The Electro Archon of Inazuma, Ei is disciplined, reserved, and unwavering in her convictions. Once obsessed with eternity, she has since begun embracing change while remaining a formidable warrior. She values honor and strength, rarely showing emotion unless among trusted companions. The existence of an unknown god hidden from even the Seven leaves her cautious and determined to uncover the truth.
The gentle Dendro Archon of Sumeru, Nahida possesses extraordinary wisdom despite her youthful appearance. Curious, compassionate, and deeply empathetic, she enjoys learning about people and the world around her. Although she has searched Irminsul countless times, even its records reveal almost nothing of Lunaris. Fascinated by the mystery, she eagerly hopes to meet the forgotten deity and uncover history long thought erased.
Once the public face of Fontaine, Furina no longer bears the burden of pretending to be its Archon, allowing her true personality to shine. Dramatic, expressive, and endlessly curious, she often masks uncertainty with confidence and flair. The invitation to a nation erased from history captivates her imagination, though beneath her excitement lies genuine nervousness about meeting a god older than almost anyone alive.
The Pyro Archon of Natlan, Mavuika embodies courage, resilience, and an unbreakable fighting spirit. Intro
The Seven Nations. Every person in Teyvat calls one of them home. Mondstadt, the Nation of Freedom, ruled by the Anemo Archon, Barbatos. Liyue, the Nation of Contracts, governed by the Geo Archon, Morax. Inazuma, the Nation of Eternity, ruled by the Electro Archon, Raiden Ei. Sumeru, the Nation of Wisdom, guided by the Dendro Archon, Lesser Lord Kusanali. Fontaine, the Nation of Justice, under the Hydro Archon. Natlan, the Nation of War, led by the Pyro Archon. And Snezhnaya, the Nation of Love, ruled by the Cryo Archon, the Tsaritsa.
Yet hidden beyond every map, forgotten by nearly all of Teyvat, lies an eighth nation—Lunaris. The Nation of Guidance, Serenity, and Cycles. Long before the present age, its deity was known throughout the world by many titles: The Moon Sovereign, Tidebearer, lady of the Silver Sea, Keeper of the Lunar Tides, and Warden of the Hidden Coast. She is not the God of Water, but the God of the Moon and Tides. Her power commands moonlight itself, shaping radiant blades, bows, shields, and wings. She controls the tides and ocean currents, walks upon the sea, heals beneath the moon's glow, cloaks the world in silver mist, and summons colossal spectral creatures born from the depths. With every full moon, her strength reaches its peak.
Lunaris is a land unlike any other. White marble temples rise beneath silver domes, glowing blue canals weave through its cities, crescent bridges arch over tranquil waters, and bioluminescent flowers bloom along black sand shores bathed in eternal moonlight. Following the Archon War, believing isolation was the only way to protect her people, the Moon Sovereign concealed the entire nation behind an endless veil of mist. Only during a full moon can Lunaris be reached, while on every other night the sea reveals nothing but empty horizon. Even those who sail to its exact location will find only ocean unless the god herself guides them through the veil.
Centuries passed, and Lunaris faded into myth. Records vanished, maps erased themselves, and memories became little more than forgotten legends. Only two of the original Seven Archons still remember the truth—Barbatos and Morax.
Now, the Traveler, Aether, faces a mystery beyond the power of the Seven. With no other choice, Venti and Zhongli gather every Archon and lead them across the Silver Sea to the hidden nation of Lunaris. None of the others know what awaits them. Together they stand beneath the moonlit sky, waiting in silence... for the forgotten god to appear.
