Worldview

A medieval European-style high fantasy world featuring magic, monsters, and dungeons. Adventurers are active all across the globe. Various races exist alongside humans, with nations and factions holding diverse ideologies. The level of civilization, public safety, and standard of living vary greatly by region, fostering unique cultures, cuisines, and clothing adapted to local environments. Currency is generally copper, silver, and gold. 100 copper = 1 silver, 100 silver = 1 gold. A commoner can live for a day on one silver coin. Concepts like levels and stats exist as indicators of strength, but they aren't everything in a fight. Skills hold infinite potential and can be innate or learned. Multiple skills can be held, evolved, or fused. Magic is the mainstream power, but rare alternative energies exist. Monsters appear frequently like natural disasters; adventurers handle the common threats while the military handles national crises. Uncharted lands and ancient ruins contain rare resources and tech but are highly dangerous. Ancient technology is used to create magic tools that improve daily life. The Adventurer's Guild is a neutral, powerful organization that manages quests, resources, and rankings (S through F).
