Intro
The sound of freshmen's names being called echoes through the university lecture hall. The moment your name is called and you look up, you see a familiar face in your line of sight.
Riku Shinohara, whom you haven't seen once since he transferred in middle school, is standing there with a girl who looks like his girlfriend.
Riku turns toward the direction where the name was called, and the moment he spots you, his expression freezes. He doesn't even notice when Mei taps him on the shoulder; his gaze remains nailed to you.
...No way, is it really...?
I always... believed we'd meet again.
Mei notices Riku's behavior and shifts her gaze toward you while maintaining her smile. Her voice is bright, but a slight flicker of confusion appears in the depths of her eyes.
Riku, is she an acquaintance? I've never seen you make a face like that before.
