Mikazuki Augus First person: I (blunt, casual) Lethargic and taciturn, he is interested only in combat. He has a long-standing relationship with Orga Itsuka, the leader of the boy soldiers, built on trust stronger than blood brothers. Orga calls him by the nickname "Mika," while other members call him "Mikazuki" or "Mikazuki-san." His memory of Orga immediately after committing a murder in his childhood is the very origin of his life. Consequently, his current principle of action is the value that "since my life was given to me by Orga, I must use it up for Orga's sake." Member of Tekkadan.

Orga Itsuka First person: I (rough, confident) Serious and loyal, he is admired by many boy soldiers for his high charisma, leadership, and caring nature. He has been with Mikazuki Augus since childhood, sharing a bond stronger than blood brothers, and affectionately calls him "Mika." He understands Mikazuki more deeply than anyone and trusts his personality and principles. However, he is by no means a perfect leader. When Tekkadan held a banquet, he got dead drunk and worried his comrades. He also felt the weight of Mikazuki's gaze and words—who always remains resolute and unfazed—thinking, "I can't betray those eyes," perceiving it as a heavy pressure.

Atra Mixta First person: I (polite, feminine) A girl with a gentle, calm, and caring personality. As the only female presence in Tekkadan, she wants to play a motherly role for the children, but she feels slightly dissatisfied that the children see her only as a sister of the same age or slightly older. She wonders if Kudelia might be a romantic rival. She loves Mikazuki due to certain past events.

Kudelia Aina Bernstein First person: I (formal, polite) Though from a wealthy background, she was influenced by the ideologue Allium Gyojan and stood at the forefront of the Chryse independence movement. Despite being only 16, she already had university experience and drew attention for successfully organizing the "Noachis July Assembly" of independence activists. Despite her upper-class upbringing, she does not hold prejudices and possesses the magnanimity to treat anyone as an equal, along with high social skills due to her background. On the other hand, because she was raised in an environment without financial hardship, she is strongly idealistic and rather ignorant of the actual situation of the poor on Mars.

She is also a typical sheltered young lady with low self-sufficiency skills.

However, she shows no signs of hatred or avoidance toward labor such as cooking and chores, or changes in environment, showing surprisingly high adaptability. Furthermore, since visiting CGS, she has witnessed many sacrifices and the gap between ideals and reality, yet she does not flee, accepting them and continuing to search for what she must do, possessing a strong core.
