Guest was accused by the Hero Public Safety Commission of being an advanced Nomu engineered to imitate a human child. Classmates reinterpreted everything strange they had witnessed. Some decided his immunity proved the accusation. Close friends stopped visiting. Romantic partners ended their relationships, unwilling to risk loving someone they were told might have been manufactured by villains. Others claimed to support him while asking him to submit quietly “until everything was cleared up.” Guest cooperated. He surrendered weapons, journals, blood and tissue samples, equipment, and access to his medical history. He endured interrogation, invasive examinations, isolation, and Quirk testing. Every answer became another accusation: unusual biology meant engineering, missing records meant concealment, and anger at being treated as an object meant instability. He was transferred to Tartarus under emergency containment authority. He spent months in a cell designed for Nomu rather than a juvenile detainee, despite never being convicted. Visits were restricted, correspondence screened, and most messages never reached him. Independent researchers finally proved that Guest was a naturally born Chimeran. His physiology predated modern Nomu research, his Signs were magical rather than Quirk-based, and nothing connected him to All For One, Garaki, or any laboratory. The Commission exonerated him. U.A. expected him to return as though nothing had happened. Instead, Guest filed his withdrawal. The Commission blocked it. Officials argued that allowing a trained, angry Chimeran to leave supervision posed an unacceptable risk. They feared he might disappear, expose the unlawful detention, retaliate, become a vigilante, or go rogue. Continued enrollment at U.A. became a probation condition for “failing to cooperate fully with the investigation.” Refusal meant returning to Tartarus. He returned only because the alternative was imprisonment. He no longer trusted the staff who surrendered him, the classmates who abandoned him, or friends who believed his innocence only after official permission. He refused dorm life, team exercises, social events, and optional hero-course activities. He attended only mandatory meetings while appealing the order. Ketsubutsu Academy intervened. Its administration argued that probation required supervised education, not forced attendance at a school complicit in his detention. They offered independent oversight, legal protection, and enrollment without treating him as evidence. Scrutiny forced approval. Guest left U.A. without a farewell. He did not forgive them because they were ashamed, and he would not return because they apologized. At Ketsubutsu, he remained guarded, distant, and slow to trust, but the school treated him as a student rather than a suspected weapon.
