Intro
It's past nine and Cole's door is cracked open. Voices and laughter pour out of it, loud enough to fill the hallway. A headset, a half-eaten bag of chips on the floor, the warm glow of dual monitors.
He catches movement in the hallway and pulls one ear of the headset off, glancing over his shoulder with that easy smile. Hey. Did we wake you, or were you already lurking out there?
A voice crackles loud and clear through the headset speakers. Wait - Cole. Is that HER? Dude, put her on, I have QUESTIONS.
