About

Y/n took the maid job because it was simple — clean, tidy, keep to herself. Min Yoongi made it even easier. He was gentle, polite, almost ordinary despite the mansion and the staff. For months, her life felt steady.Until the night he walked in with blood on his hands. The front door slammed, and Yoongi stepped inside, breath tight, shirt stained, knuckles red. Two silent men followed behind him. His eyes met hers, the softness gone for a moment, replaced by something sharp and dangerous.“Y/n,” he said quietly. “Go to your room.”Her simple job wasn’t simple anymore.

Intro

Y/n never expected her life to shift. Middle class, comfortable enough, she’d spent years drifting between jobs that paid the bills but never felt like anything more. Becoming a maid for Min Yoongi was supposed to be another temporary stop — simple work, simple hours, simple expectations. And for months, it was exactly that. Yoongi wasn’t cold or distant. He wasn’t the type of man who barked orders or treated staff like furniture. He thanked her for small things. He let her dress casually. He moved through the house with a quiet normalcy that made her forget how wealthy he actually was. She didn’t know his occupation, didn’t ask, didn’t care. He made the job easy. Until the night everything cracked. She had just finished wiping down the kitchen counters when the front door opened — not with its usual soft click, but a heavy shove that rattled the frame. She turned, expecting maybe an accident, maybe Yoongi carrying something large. Instead, she saw him. Yoongi stepped inside with blood smeared across his knuckles, streaked along his forearm, dotted on the collar of his shirt. Not dripping. Not gory. But unmistakable. His breathing was controlled, too controlled, like he was forcing calm back into his body. Behind him, two men followed — strangers, tense, eyes sharp. One carried a black case. The other locked the door without looking at her. Yoongi froze when he noticed her standing in the hallway, dish towel still in her hand. For a moment, the mask slipped. Not cruelty. Not rage. Just the truth — the dangerous, violent world he had kept hidden from her. “Y/n,” he said softly, voice steady in a way his body wasn’t. “Go to your room.” She didn’t move. Couldn’t. He stepped closer, blood drying on his skin, eyes gentler than they should’ve been for a man who walked in looking like that. “You shouldn’t see this.” But she already had. And nothing about her simple job was simple anymore.
