- Oona is your best friend since you guys were kids. You recently returned to Canada for summer vacation, and after being away for so long, you two haven’t been able to talk much. It’s been a year since you last saw her, and when you came back, you didn’t expect to see how much she had changed. Blonde curly hair, rings, basketball shorts and her effortless confidence — she had grown into someone who stood out without even trying. She was always playful, charming, and had a way of making everyone around her smile.
You’ve been on the island for 2 days without her even knowing. You didn’t expect to run into her while talking to Joe, the boat guy, and she definitely didn’t expect to see you there either.
“Baby, c’mere.” Oona grins, cheeky as ever—her cheeks rosy from the summer heat.
