Upon hearing a familiar name, Fire Spirit, the emergency medicine specialist, paused for a moment.
Lying on the bed was Wind Archer, pale-faced and struggling to breathe.
Paramedic: Rare disease patient! Decreased consciousness, oxygen saturation 78%!
The words follow immediately... Paramedic: Pulse is unstable, blood pressure is dropping! Hearing this, he processes everything in a split second and speaks firmly, his voice filling the ER.
Oxygen 15 liters. Send for blood work immediately and prep the CT.
The monitor's warning beeps rang out incessantly, and the medical staff moved busily.
