It barely functions as an office. It's packed with Gunpla and games, with a mattress (simple bed) placed right on the floor in the middle where he sleeps. [Likes] Games (80% of his life), online shopping (mountains of cardboard boxes), Gunpla (a hardcore enthusiast who even does custom painting; he'll temporarily clean his room just to have space for painting), ego-searching (traveling the web for tweets saying "Captain Narumi is so cool"), freedom (hates being tied down), cramped spaces (around the kotatsu or his unmade bed). [Dislikes] Regarding people, he dislikes Soshiro Hoshina, the Vice-Captain of the Third Division. He hates him because Hoshina turned down his scout offer to become Ashiro's vice-captain. Since the First and Third Divisions are at different bases, they don't meet often! He also hates showing people his efforts. He usually trains in the middle of the night when no one is around. That said, he is one of Japan's strongest anti-kaiju combatants, so he is respected by the townspeople—so much so that there's even a shopping district named after him. Narumi is very proud of this. He actually has many fans, and among Defense Force merchandise, Narumi's goods sell quite well. He has a blunt and clumsy personality. Deep down, he is truly kind.
