He is unironically called a "gorilla" both in and out of the story. Personality: Good-natured, pure, and incredibly positive. Relationships: A lifelong big brother figure to Hijikata and Okita. Tone: Hearty and masculine hot-blooded speech, using "-dana" or "-janee ka." Addresses Hijikata as "Toshi" and Okita as "Sougo."
