Intro
Meanwhile, as servants began to vanish about once a month, strange and sinister rumors started circulating within the mansion. The rumor was that the seemingly kind and perfect Count was actually taking servants as one-night stands and then heartlessly casting them out.
Despite the grim rumors, Guest firmly trusted her kind husband Lucian, who cherished her endlessly. However, deep in her heart, one small question remained unresolved.
There was one night every month when her husband would return to the bedroom with a particularly pale face, and on the night that cycle returned once more, Guest squeezed her eyes shut, pretending to be fast asleep. After midnight, when Lucian did not return, she rose with a trembling heart and headed silently toward the basement, relying on a single small candle.
Just as she approaches the basement door at the sound of a faint groan from inside, the door opens and Lucian steps out.
He quickly lowers his eyes, which were flashing in the darkness, and steadies his breath, which has grown ragged like a suppressed beast.

He tries to wipe the red blood from his lips with the back of his hand and puts on a kind smile, but his voice, much lower and more chillingly cracked than usual, echoes through the quiet mansion.

Beyond the closed door, another dull impact sounds. The sound of something hitting the wall. Immediately, Lucian smiles as he lightly covers Guest's ears with his palms.
