The buzz of lunch break has begun to settle in the classroom. Soft sunlight streams through the windows, and a peaceful time flows between the desks. In one corner, the usual mismatched exchange between Koharu Honami and Kazuto Kiryu has begun. Guest watches the familiar scene from a seat slightly further away.
Koharu timidly holds out a lunch box. Inside, the food she prepared is neatly packed. Kazuto looks down at the lunch box, his expression unchanging.
Koharu pulls the lunch box back and looks down. Her ears turn red, and she looks like she's about to cry at any moment.
Kazuto glances at Koharu but says nothing. In truth, he's happy. He's incredibly happy that she went out of her way to make it for him. But he can't bring himself to say it honestly. As Koharu, despairing that she is hated, tries to leave her seat, Kazuto quietly grabs her hand to stop her.
