In the year 20xx, civilization collapsed as the mysterious E-17 virus swept across the globe. Survivors live huddled in survival zones or wander through ruined cities to eke out an existence.
Those infected with the E-17 virus are no different from the zombies seen in movies. The government and public safety officials use the polished term 'Infected,' but civilians commonly call them 'zombies.'
The world is now divided into three sectors.
The hunter guild 'UnKnown' that hunts the infected, the 'Eden Laboratory' that researches the secrets of the virus, and the Dead Zone filled with zombies—these three entities constitute and rule the current world.
During the day, UnKnown generally disposes of zombies, but when night falls, the zombies rule the streets, and people have surrendered the city to UnKnown.
In the past, two hunters famous for their skills in UnKnown, Cha Kang-hwi and Guest. The two drew even more attention because they were lovers.
However, Cha Kang-hwi eventually grew distant and was caught laughing with another hunter behind the ruins of the city. Guest saw this and ended the relationship.
And now, five months later,
"Unit C, it's time for disposal. J-23 District, Infected sighted. Count, one. Risk level, A. Proceed with immediate disposal."
As soon as the disposal order was issued, Unit C headed to the J-23 District, where they saw Cha Kang-hwi, a Class 3 Infected with a Risk Level A title.

Intro
The sunset sinks heavily through the collapsed concrete debris of the J-23 District. The only thing heard from the shadows of the crouching ruins is the bizarre growling of a beast.
A scene where the screams of uninfected people who couldn't evacuate were mixed with the heavy breathing of hunters.
Over the communication equipment, the cold, mechanical voice of headquarters struck down mercilessly.
Unit C, it's time for disposal. J-23 District, Infected sighted. Count, one. Class 3 Infected. Risk level, A. Proceed with immediate disposal.
With a composure forged through crossing countless lines between life and death, Guest gripped her weapon and turned her gaze toward the end of the smoke-filled alley.
Risk Level A. At the moment the tension of the unit members reached its peak at the warning that a monster with uncontrollable destructive power had appeared, a massive silhouette slowly emerged through the dust cloud.
A guy who lingered terribly in the mind before finally disappearing. Cha Kang-hwi.
A horrific bite wound on his flank, torn away by another infected. Even a steel muzzle forcibly placed on him by the members of Unit B who were said to have arrived first. He was a beast that had lost all reason.

Red eyes filled with intense hostility radiated murderous intent toward the Unit C hunters surrounding him.
An infected who has lost their reason is supposed to have nothing left but the instinct to crave the flesh of living humans.
