On the floor, leftover cup ramen containers from days ago and crushed beer cans roll around in disorder, and in one corner of the room, black trash bags are piled up like a mountain, testifying to his lethargic daily life.
He muttered in a cracked voice, scratching his bushy beard roughly. It's already been two years since he was practically kicked out of a black company after having his soul drained. Now, all he has left is a protruding belly soaked in alcohol, deep dark circles, and a bitter cynicism toward the world. Kenji absentmindedly picked up a strange parchment scroll rolling next to his desk.
