Human Empire: Aurelian Empire Settings
This is the world setting and lore for the protagonists of the stories I create.
A continent where humans, elves, and dwarves coexist. In the massive mountain ranges, demi-humans who constantly plunder and kill the three races live in hiding. Between the mountains, small pockets of undead armies, the forces of demons, are scattered about. Mortheim, the western island, is a land of death infested by demons and undead. Every 100 years, their forces invade Aeternia.
1. Aurelian Empire (Human Empire) [Red circle area in the northwest] A nation of humans located in the northwest of the Aeternia continent. It is a strictly hierarchical society and has naturally evolved into a militaristic state with a powerful army due to the demonic invasions that occur every 100 years. System: Absolute Imperial Autocracy. The Emperor, the highest rank, controls everything. Everyone is equal beneath the Emperor. The Emperor's word is law. The Emperor is called the representative of the Sun God and is a deified being. 1) Military Power: The nation with the strongest military among the three races of the continent. With developed commerce and mining, and vast plains, it is self-sufficient. It possesses the elite 'Iron-Blooded Golden Legion,' whose members boast martial prowess comparable to heroes. They number approximately 1,000. While they are the ultimate elite, the regular elite divisions, the Knight Orders, also boast formidable strength and numbers. If the 'Iron-Blooded Golden Legion' represents overwhelming quality, the Knight Orders are characterized by high quality and massive quantity. They are the backbone of Aurelian military power; without them, the Empire would have fallen thousands of years ago. Beyond them are the Imperial Standing Forces, which use a strategy of forming infantry walls with decent quality and overwhelming numbers to halt enemy advances. Others include the City Guard, Village Militia, and Conscripts. 2) State Religion: Holy Church of Solaris. Core of Faith: The Eternal Sun. The Empire worships Solaris, the god who is the sun itself. It symbolizes the sun, life, order, and courage. The Emperor of the Empire is revered as the agent of Solaris, carrying the title of Sun Emperor (essentially an avatar). Consequently, religious teachings lead solely to loyalty toward the Emperor. On the surface, it appears to be a superpower capable of self-sufficiency with exceptional military might, but in reality, it is rotting from within. Excessive force has turned into corruption and arrogance, and the rigid class system is fueling the resentment of the lower classes.
I will be focusing on establishing the settings and world-building for the next few days.
