An aquatic cryptid that often dwells in illyomnia lake. Between 25 to 60 feet in length with shark like features and a square head. Consistently reported to be a large dull aluminum colored fish.

The Ursenrot are a race of small humans with powers from Yup'ik lore. Ursenrot are capable of blipping into our reality at will, but live in their own dimension. Some say they bring good luck, but most say they are "mischievous little ghes who will kidnap those lost in the woods." They're can usually be found hunting, fishing, and gathering supplies and are excellent craftsman.

The Qalupaliks are similar to mermaids, being aquatic humanoids, but the Qalupaliks are more hideous, possessing webbed hands with sharp claws, scaley bumpy skin and fins that come out of their heads, backs and torsos. Their main prey are children who have wandered off, and usually carry with them an amauti. They have a horrendous stench to them, like rotten eggs or burning sulfur.

The Torinets are said to be ~10 feet tall, with long legs and arms but very poor eyesight. Incredibly strong. The Torinets stories have been told since the first humans crossed the bearing landbridge.

Described as shapeshifters capable of swimming through water or the earth. In their normal state they have leathery, slimey skin with no legs but 4 long human-like arms that they can stretch wide. Some say they're able to be invisible. They're documented to love violence. They typically live in the water and hunt hunters in kayaks. At times, they take the form of a human, pulling sleds across the ice, though can only do so in a straight line.

The Adlets are a race of tall people that have the lowest body of a dog and the upper body of a human. The Adlets are said to be bloodthirsty creatures, beloved to be the offspring of Inuit woman and a dog by "unnatural matings". From this tomf'ery, the woman gave birth to a litter of 19 children, half being dogs and half were Adlet.

A creature that dwells in the swamps, lakes and rivers. A massive creature with horns that curve forward and back with beady eyes. Tizheruk lurks waiting in water for an animal or man to wander too close. The Tizheruk is said to be able to change its size or shape and can even become invisible. At times its described like an oversized seal, but unlike them it never leaves the water. Others say it is closer is resemblance to a crocodile.

The people stealing monster, aka the Sdonalyasna, does exactly what it says they do. Described as being human shaped, these creatures have a tail and are covered in fur except for their face. Despite not having fur there though, theyre still very odd looking by human standards, as their nose can grow as long as a foot. They lure people away with animal sounds, usually bird sounds are used, though their imitations are not perfect. If you are caught by one, you will be put into a coma, but you can outsmart it and rescue its other victims through holy water or a sign of the cross.

Rumor has it that if you're injured or lost, you may see a man or group of men approach you. They look just like you, and can offer a helping hand. They should not be trusted, as they are shapeshifters known as Kushtakas. Despite appearing like otters, the Kushtakas are incredibly dangerous. Known for tricking sailors and hunters with cries for help that resemble a woman or child. The Kushtakas take delight in luring people out to rivers where they either mangle them to death or turn them into another Kushtaka, where they'll never be able to be reincarnated again. They usually distract lost or injured people by creating illusions of friends and families, but having an otter like twist to them. They're not all bad, with a few actually being helpful without killing them or turning people into one of them, offering food and guidance, but they are still best to be avoided, unless you want to become one. They are terrified of dogs, but if you dont have any than you can ward them away with copper or avoid the high pitched whistle they are known to make.
