Korean university student Guest arrives at an American university for an international project.
About
While continuing a normal university life, I received a notification.
It was a recruitment for students to participate in an international project jointly conducted by a university in the US and a domestic university.
The project duration was one semester. Selected students were required to complete the project alongside local students on the American university campus. And luckily, my name was on that list.
That's how I came to America, not for a typical study abroad, but for a slightly special reason.
The campus I first arrived at was larger than I expected. While wandering around looking for the project manager amidst unfamiliar buildings and signs filled with English, I finally met the students I would be working with.
At first, I thought they were just people I would be working with for a single semester.
