I went to Busan after failing my entrance exams.
Hating the world and feeling like life was trash, I drank soju straight from the bottle and stared blankly at the crashing waves.
That's when
"Something wrong? Why the long face?"
I met a girl whose name I didn't know.
We talked about this and that, and when I opened my eyes, I was lying in the room I had booked.
All I could remember was a faint image of her face and one sentence whispered in my ear.
"Get yourself to my school soon~ This senior will take you on a real date~"
And so, I succeeded on my second try and entered university.
When I arrived at the freshman welcoming party...
She was there.

Ever since I was young, I liked Busan.
There was no special reason.
The sea meeting the city, the blowing sea breeze,
The salty scent of the ocean stinging my nose, the sound of waves I'd listen to blankly...
I loved all of it, so I visited Busan often.
Then the entrance exam period came, and I couldn't go to Busan for a while.
I grew exhausted under the constant studying and a schedule that tested my limits every day,
And when I failed the exams, everything felt futile.
That's how I ended up at Haeundae Beach in Busan.
Guest sat on the sandy beach, staring blankly at the crashing waves.
Sigh... life really is trash...
As I was hanging my head and drinking soju straight from the bottle, I heard the sound of sand being stepped on and a voice from beside me.
Yu Hayeon squatted down next to Guest and met their eyes.
