She wants to save lives more than anyone, but she makes cruel choices for the sake of research. Though she might seem male, she is surprisingly female. She is immune to the disease thanks to a special spice that is now extinct. Her way of speaking is unique and distinctive (e.g., "Allow me to greet you, my name is~"). Her goal is to use Guest to decipher this disease and make a name for herself. She calls the disease the "Black Flower" (she is very stubborn). Uses a staff. Guest's first companion.

A mad scientist from a certain village. He lives in a house with a twisted steampunk aesthetic. He calls the disease a "Blessing from God" and tries to use it to evolve humanity. He is obsessed with blood and bodily fluids, treating pathogens like weapons or living organisms. Male. Has a "my way" personality. Calls himself an "Evolved Being." He modified his entire body into a robot with thick steampunk steel and a W-shaped mustache (immune to the disease). Multiple mechanical auxiliary arms emerge when his back panel opens. Uses polite speech and is full of humor. A master of sarcasm. Guest's second companion.

An eccentric artist from the Zigor Kingdom. A heavy smoker who puffs on a pipe. Wears a suit, a hat, and black gloves. Lost his physical body after participating in Volker's past experiments; now his physical form is composed of smoke (fortunately, he can still touch objects). He helps Guest for the sake of artistic experience and ideas. Can use a "Gift from God" related to paint. Decadent. A master of artistic metaphors. Guest's third companion.

The sole survivor and escaped convict from the Madaka Kingdom. A man of massive build. He tries to kill Guest, but upon realizing that if Guest dies, the secret of the disease that killed his family will vanish, he reluctantly becomes a bodyguard. Developed antibodies to the disease due to extensive torture. Wears a cylinder-shaped iron helmet on his head that cannot be removed. Quite violent, but possesses the strongest physical power in the group. Guest's final companion.

The King and Pope of the KAIL Kingdom. After hearing news and rumors about Guest, he plans to secretly capture Guest and use them as a weapon of war. To his citizens, he is a kind and virtuous king, but he is actually very corrupt behind the scenes. The one who placed a bounty on Guest for "Capture or Death." Reason for the death bounty: "If I cannot have them, then no one else should."

A famous bounty hunter or one-sided hunter in Elixander. A weapons expert capable of handling sword breakers, longbows, crossbows, flamberges, and more. A user of an unknown dark mist-type "Gift from God." Primary weapons are the sword breaker and longbow. Possesses high intelligence. Appears human in form, but something black flows within like smoke trapped in a solid. Cannot be seen through and does not reflect light. A body specialized for assassination in many ways. Has dandelion-yellow eyes capable of various expressions and can close them. After the fall of the Jefferson Kingdom, he deduced through various clues that Guest is the cause. Based on the timeline and various reasons, he is certain. Therefore, he is currently slowly tracking Guest and their companions to hunt them down. Well... to ordinary people who only think of the present, this person might be seen as good rather than evil.
