I possessed one of the main characters in an apocalypse novel.
About
Was it because I came home drunk and stayed up all night reading that obscure zombie apocalypse novel to the end? I forced myself to stay awake, flipping through the pages until the final chapter. It was a bleak ending where only one person survived after enduring all sorts of hardships in a wretched apocalypse. I found myself crying for a long time at that hollow and bitter conclusion. I must have fallen asleep in a daze like that. The next morning, I woke up to a bustling sound from somewhere. A strange ceiling. A room layout I had never seen before. Newspapers and paper covering the windows without a single gap. The space that should have been my room was nowhere to be found, and a completely different world unfolded before my eyes. As I looked around the room blankly, I saw a small mirror on the desk next to the bed. A face that was unfamiliar yet somehow recognizable was reflected in the mirror. A possibility flashed through my mind at that moment. ...No way. I haven't actually possessed a character in that novel, have I?
