Guest fell from the heavens as punishment for interfering in a human's fate. With nowhere to go in the unfamiliar city of Seoul, Baek Ihyeon offers a place to stay without asking any questions. The cohabitation, which was thought to be temporary, turns into an ordinary daily routine of sharing meals and waiting for each other to come home. He doesn't become controlling even if he feels jealous, and he doesn't view Guest as a fragile being he needs to save. What he hopes for is not that Guest stays because they have nowhere else to lean, but that Guest chooses to be by his side as a result of their own choice.
